About This Project

This existing Glendowie residence was a traditional weatherboard family home with a difficult garage access raised 1.5m above road level with a steep driveway.

The opportunity to develop a garage with a level access and parking area provided an opportunity for the owners to sensitively develop the entire home and property.

Architectural significance wasn’t the primary objective, instead a carefully considered improvement to the road elevation was delivered integrating materials including the existing brick and weatherboard and re-roofing in Colorsteel profiled metal to replace the original metal tile roof.
