About This Project

This project involved a major remodeling and refurbishment of a 1960’s block of flats to result in three new high-end apartments complete with basement carparking. Sea and harbour views were an important driver for the project which were maximised by puncturing through the existing walls to deliver wide opening doors and windows.

The materials used are a simple blend of masonry, plaster and glass with aluminium louvres providing privacy where required. Cantilevered glass balustrades ensure the sweeping views could be appreciated while large sliding doors provide a seamless indoor outdoor relationship to the generous northeast-facing patios.

While years in the making, this development was inspired by the simplicity of the original structure and is a credit to the owners who strove through a desire for excellence to achieve a building that takes full advantage of its exclusive location and superb outlook.
